How hard is it to learn how to use a scanner?

I have no prior experience working in warehouses, and in a few days I’m starting a job at a pharmaceutical warehouse. How hard is it to learn the job? I’m mainly worried about using the scanner. Thank you.

I want to become a novice monk on Mount Athos

I (M 34) want (or at least I think I want) to pursue a monastic life. How difficult is it to be accepted as a novice? Has anyone here ever tried this?
