Don't know if anyone is still wondering this, but after ironing out my mining run with Linnea I have tested them both and Zhongli completes it faster.

(Chasm, Liyue, Natlan, & Nod Krai hotspots)

16m 20s - Linnea
Vs

15m 20s - Zhongli

If you're surprised, Linnea can't mine with enemies present and also Zhongli's radius is larger. Also, people think Zhongli leaves stragglers behind but I can hit every single area of crystals getting them all at once. Linnea's big pro is that Lumi sucks everything up, but it's not enough to make up for being slower. (Tbf this is barely any difference, just don't like people thinking they need/needed to "upgrade")
