Reparability of Sidephone?
Hi! I've just ordered a Sidephone Founders Edition International, and I was wondering whether the phone’s repairability had been taken into account, it's quite a long term concern but since I have for the moment my old Iphone 6, I'm used to be able to find pieces (such as battery, screen, home button...) on the internet to repair it myself.
The Iphones are certainly not the most repairable phones, but at least, since it is worldwide used, it is easy to find pieces/professionnals able to repair/ tutorials on yt or whatsoever... Especially since I live in Europe, it would be quite annoying if I needed to ship it to america and wait 3 weeks to have it fixed... I hope it won't break, but since I'm not buying it to change it in six months, it's something that might happen!
Have you though of letting some pieces accessible for small reparations, eventually some tutorials on the internet, or is the phone only designed to be opened/repaired by Sidephone's employees? That would really be awesome and would kind of match with that open-source mindset (more on the hardware though, but that's not less important in my opinion :)), thanks a lot for your answers and can't wait to start using the phone!
