Best time to switch from a business card to a corporate card?

I am a solo founder right now but I am planning to hire my first two employees next year. I am wondering if i should switch to a corporate card now or just stick with my regular business card a little longer.

What are the main benefits besides just keeping finances separate? I have seen Ramp mention things like automated accounting sync and real time expense tracking. I am curious if that actually works as well as they say it does or if it is mostly marketing hype. Beyond Ramp I have also looked at Brex which used to be the hot startup card. Their rewards structure has changed a lot so I am not sure if they are still worth it.

What I really want to know is whether a corporate card actually saves you time bookkeeping and expense management once you have a small team. If the automation works well that alone might be worth the switch.

Has anyone here moved from a regular business card to a corporate card as their team grew? Would love to hear what actually changed for you besides just having a different piece of plastic in your wallet? Thanks.
