[Waybound] One thing that bothers me a bit
I love the series, want to get that out of the way. I love that the entire story was well thought out and every loose end was tied up by the end.
The one thing that kinda bugged me is that Jai Long and Jai Chen were really hinted at from an early stage that they were going to be major players in the story. From Jai Chen being Lindon’s wife in the vision in book 1, to the whole redemption arc of Jai Long. To Lindon kind of brutally putting him in his place after he got together with his sister. It seemed like he was getting set up for a serious redemption arc and then he just… died. And now when i look at the overall story, jai long and Jai Chen were just not really major players in the story, and that feels kind of wrong. Anyway, just a random thought. Would be interested in hearing other’s perspectives
