Wherewolf or omegaverse
Looking for werewolf / omegaverse recs!
I’m searching for books where the FMC has little to no connection to the supernatural world or the world of the MMC and absolutely does not want to be part of it. I really like FMCs who push back, don’t instantly submit to the alpha/mate bond, and aren’t too easily swooned.
What I’m really craving:
- heavy angst
- psychological horror / mind games / paranoia
- dark atmosphere
- slow emotional breakdown or trust-building
- tension
What I don’t want:
- Reverse Harem
- FMC immediately obsessed because “the bond made her”
- insta-forgiveness or being too easily swooned
Bonus points if the MMCs are genuinely unsettling at first and the horror elements actually matter to the story
