why is my crotch eating my split skirt :(
Hello everyone! I did a mockup of a split skirt following this youtube video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vi36ikbzngo&t=3s (sorry it's in french). I put a screenshot of he pattern in the post, but the video did say to freehand the crotch line (green on the pattern). The fabric is a plain cotton bedsheet.
As you can see, the crotch is quite weird and i dont really know if it's because i did the crotch line weirdly or if i have to adjust for rounder bellies ? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
(Also, it does not help that i do not know which way the front is, which is why i put pictures of the skort wore both ways... if you also have tips on how to tell the front from the back, i'll be grateful :/ I did write "8" and "10" on the fabric, but i realized just now that i wrote them on the discarded parts...)
