Frustration with Saturn S

I’ve had a Saturn S for a while, and I remain frustrated with the results. This is the third attempt at printing a TIE brute wing, files by Modelwerkshop. I’ve tried two different resins and support settings. I can get good test prints, but I cannot get a successful print. These frustrations are why I’ve stopped using this thing time and again. I try to print, fail, deep dive into troubleshooting, get nowhere and step away.

Printer is Saturn S, resin either Elegoo water washable photopolymer resin black or Siraya Tech Blu Lava black and Chutbox for slicing. I have a Mars that works fine, but I got the Saturn to do larger prints. I’m seriously considering just upgrading to the latest Saturn, if I can get the money. Rather try before I buy, but that isn’t an option.

Saw a white minivan stop in my street and watched two kids come to my door. I usually just use the ring doorbell and let my GSD voice her opponent solicitors. However, I was nice since they were kids. They are campaigning for House district 16. Usual spiel, lower taxes, safer street, etc. Didn’t mention party affiliation. I was polite and accepted the card and thanked them. As soon as I saw the elephant used to denote bullet points, right in the trash.

Took my 21 Sport in because I was getting a strong, exhaust like smell while using the HVAC system. The water pump and engine are both leaking, again. $6000 repair. Of course they have to keep it over the weekend so the adjuster can validate the repair cost. My bill will be $100. I’ve had two alternators replaced, an engine oil solenoid, electrical repair and a few leaks. All coveted. I just hate being broncoless.
