Issues migrating to new Router - Poor Performance and Connectivity
Recently tried to transition from a Netgear R6900v2 to an Archer BE9700 - but I have noticed issues with a spottier connection and poor performance since I have switched the two (E.g. Using VR Air-Link results in much worse quality and random crashing). Performing speed tests seems to show that the newer router's speeds are slower on most of my devices.
Most of my devices use the 2.4GHz/5GHz channel on the Archer BE9700 - The router was set to merge both channels and switch between the two automatically. Are there any common steps I can take to determine the cause of these issues, and resolve them? Is the BE9700 too new to be compatible with my older devices? I know that some of my devices don't support the 6GHz capability, but I figured that they could use the 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels just fine
