Recurrent loss . Please give some hope
I conceived naturally and experienced a chemical pregnancy. A few months later, I conceived naturally again but miscarried at 6 weeks.
I then conceived naturally for a third time, which unfortunately turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy, resulting in the loss of my right fallopian tube.
After that, we proceeded with IVF.
First IVF cycle:
- Retrieved enough eggs to create 2 untested embryos.
- First transfer: medicated cycle, resulted in a chemical pregnancy.
- Second transfer: natural cycle, no implantation.
Second IVF cycle:
- Retrieved enough eggs to create 4 untested embryos.
- First transfer: fresh transfer, no implantation.
- Second transfer: natural cycle, no implantation.
- I then underwent a hysteroscopy, during which chronic endometritis was diagnosed and treated.
- Third transfer: natural cycle, no implantation.
- Fourth transfer: medicated cycle. Initial beta hCG levels were reassuring, but the pregnancy miscarried at 5 weeks after the hCG levels plateaued.
- Final embryo transfer: medicated cycle. My hCG at 9 days post-transfer was only 7, which is consistent with a chemical pregnancy.
I am currently 34 years old, and my partner is 33. None of our embryos have undergone PGT testing. My fertility workup has been normal, including karyotyping, and I have no known clotting disorders.
I am not going to start a new retrieval but test the embryos . Anyone had luck with pgt testing ?
