I am considering becoming a histotech. I am aware that histotechs are exposed to certain chemicals like xylene and formaldehyde.. this being said, is it an actual concern? like are you more likely to get cancers or health issues in this career longterm?

google is not really clear on this so id love to hear from actual people & their real life experiences. any input helps , genuinely appreciate any replies
