Fainting??

I’ve been having panic attacks for years. I’m not new to the lightheaded feeling that comes along with it. However, a couple times in the last year I’ve woken from my sleep to some panic that shortly after led into genuine clammy cold sweat, shaking, vision tunneling where I had to lay on the floor with my legs elevated to prevent fainting. Last episode also I induced vomiting because the nausea was so bad.

I’m thinking maybe it could be some sort of vagus nerve trigger that brings me to a pre syncope episode and then the panic amps it all up? Note that this type of episode has only happened at night after waking from sleep. Maybe it’s simply panic on its own? Anyone else with a similar experience, let me know!

So confused

Hi I am really new to this world but over the last year I’ve been struggling with extreme fatigue, brain fog, restless legs, insomnia, heat intolerance and breathlessness. My recent doctors appointment showed my labs reading normal but a ferritin of 15 and a slightly low MCHC. No anemia.

My doctor said I’m fine no problems which is of course making me emotional because I’m not fine!

I do have celiac disease that has been treated by a gluten free diet for over a decade and I have had an increase in period bleeding and clots for the last year or two. Anything structural was ruled out by an ultrasound and my thyroid tests are fine. They chalked up my heavier flow to age (I’m 33).

Is this just iron? Am I crazy? I see lots of you here saying 15 is actually low?

Pain..

Hi all, wondering if anyone has similar experience. I will note that I have been in contact with my doctor and see her next week for blood/scans if needed but wanted to ask here as well.

I’ve been on sema about 18 months. I’ve stayed at 1.5mg as it’s worked for me. Losing slower but it’s my preference. Typically the basic nausea and fatigue have been my only symptoms but one night I ate a bit more than typical and had the WORST gas pains I’ve ever felt. Was on the floor in the bathroom could hardly move for an hour. It was pressure like pain around where my bra strap would sit, front and back and in the center of my chest. Upper area, not lower in gut.

I’ve had about 5 of these episodes in 6 months. It doesn’t happen every time I eat. Only when I eat a little too much and food that’s a bit heavier. I first suspected gallbladder but my doctor isn’t suspecting this as I told her when I throw up (I induce this in these situations sometimes) it significantly reduces the pain alongside sitting in a very hot shower and she said that’s not what would happen if it was my gallbladder? She seems to just think it’s normal for the meds.

I’ve just never had such bad gas pain. It’s miserable! I of course can avoid this by not overeating and have but if anyone has a similar experience I’d love to know! I don’t want my doc to dismiss it if maybe it’s something more serious.

***note, gas x is effective and helps the pain subside and my GP said gallbladder wouldn’t respond to this BUT it just seems too painful to just be gas hahah.
