Hekate and your dogs behavior?
Hi! I have been practicing with Hekate for a little over a year now, though I believe she has been with me at least since I was 13. She has helped me drastically in major life changes. I have received many blessings and take comfort in the things I’m shown. I focus mostly on shadow work, dream work, and work to help my family/myself.
I understand her background/present with hounds, but I didn’t realize her presence could be shown/sensed by my dog?
I have been spiritually tapped, and have been on a break for a few months now, in light of the strawberry moon I did a ritual of letting go mindsets and habits that no longer serve me. I left Hekate an offer and after I cleaned it up, I was relaxing and my newly adopted dog by 2 months (very extremely comfortable with me and my partner and super smart, was very unexpected how quick we all bonded) never barks, not even with wildlife, knocking at the door, etc, woke up and started hush barking, this shocked me and I wanted my partner to hear his barks so I started recording it. My phone is brand new iPhone I got a month ago, and my camera quality for this video was as if it was recorded by a 2012 camera, when it was working perfectly fine a couple hours prior. At one point during my dogs bark fit, he used sharper barks and went to get up but laid back down as if he was told to lay down.. he gradually became calmer after. there’s no other way to explain it, it did make me uneasy and nervous. Upon replay, I noticed the background lighting be a blueish color (I have black out curtains and it looks like there are headlights passing by too, window does not face street) and after he gets up and lays down the lighting seems orangey. I swore I heard “it’s okay” during that, but when I replayed it a second time I no longer heard it.
Was he reacting to her? Can you share your stories on if your dog has acted this way after a ritual or anything relating to Hekate? Thank you.
