Do you guys wash your bikes? If yes, how often and how? Do you go to a car wash? Just a bucket of water and a sponge?

Hi guys, just installed handlebar risers on my bike, but started questioning the safety of that. Do they impact the geometry and weight of the motorcycle in any way? Is it actually safe to ride with them?
I am ~1.80m (5’9”).
