A while ago I got diagnosed with genital herpes (HSV2) and my dreams eventually prescribed me valacyclovir tables. Half gram tables twice a day for 3 days at the onset of symptoms. Anyone else feel like that isn't enough. I began another outbreak on May 6th and took the medicine as told then again today before the scabs are even fully healed I notice another patch of tiny bumps. I want to cry man. I want a sex life without feeling like shit. What do I do? I asked about daily medication and my doctor kinda told me no and that she was worried about how it could affect my kidneys but I don't know. I feel like its not enough. Or is this just life now? Help ease my mind please because im not in an okay headspace.
