Hello friends! Plant sun question
I bought this beautiful costa farms monstera from Walmart around 3 months ago when it only had two leaves. Its growth beautifully since then in a west facing window in terre haute Indiana. My question is that over the summer it is going to be living in Chicago for 3 months. Would it be best for the plant if it sat with leaves facing a south facing window, or if it just went outside? I could put it outside, we have a deck, I’m just worried about it getting sunburnt, but even if adapted it would then go back inside for another year, so it would have to readapt and would probably be worse off longer term?
Additionally, I made a moss pole for it but it dosent seem to really be using it which is unfortunate. I had a piece of Velcro fabric loose holding it against the moss in hopes to stimulate some mechanoreceptors, but it still dosent seem to be producing any air roots.
I would love to hear yalls thoughts,
