Who is liable for the cost of repair
Location: North Dakota
I bought a car - a Subaru forester - in February of this year. A month and a half after buying the car the eyesight stopped working. I brought it to Subaru and they told me an after market windshield was installed and the eyesight camera need to be changed. This is a big price repair around 4k. The dealership I bought the car from replaced the windshield and did not disclose this when I bought the car so I have no idea if the right measures were taken after replacing it. Recalibration, etc. Am I responsible for the repair if I wasn’t fully informed of the repairs of the car? Or is the dealership I bought the car from liable for the cost? How, if possible, can I fight this?
