Saving pills for tapering off or maintenance

I got my 5.5 dose early and I am curious about starting it sooner and save some of the 2.5 for when the time comes to maintain. I read that there is no need to taper unless you take medication for diabetes. But to ease off and have time to emotionally work through the food noise sounds like a good plan.

I'm aiming for a 30lb loss and am 8 solid pounds down since starting in August. I'm hoping the 5.5 is the magic dose.

Does it sound reasonable to tuck away some of the 2.5s for the future, and maybe the 5.5 if I increase to 9? Anyone have details to share on doing an earlier start of the next dose?

Pill #13 .8 - losing effectiveness?

I have been wondering about the package insert that says to leave the pills in their bottle and the bottle in the blacked out box to protect pills from light. Since I prefer to take the pill around 1pm, my first week I packed 8 pills into a clear pill container and tucked it in my bag. It's not exactly "bright" in there. LOL

The first week was spent with a slight discomfort in my upper stomach after eating. Which most certainly helped keep me from my obsessing over what was in my fridge. Tomorrow is pill 14 and my food noise seems to be coming back and I have no side effects at all anymore. Doesn't seem to matter what or when I eat now, nothing feels off. Great! I am looking forward to the next dose increase to see if it helps me feel like I felt during week one. Kinda magical feeling really. Well, other than the stomach thing.

Sounds silly, but am I just getting used to the dose or am I changing the effectiveness of the pill by carrying them around?

Diet and side effects question

Pills are on their way! I am concerned about noisy gastro side effects happening at work. The bathroom is very close to desks.

I have been a protein eater without a care for how much fat I eat for a good 10 years. More fat is always better! I don't eat much in the way of fiber (no bread and my veg is usually broccoli, when I bother). From reading posts here and on other GLP1 groups, I understand that will need to change.

I've been eating this way for so long I have no idea what should I have on my grocery list. Thoughts?

Also, can effects like diarrhea and constipation be warded off? Kind of like when the doc gives an opioid script after surgery...and says to take a stool softener? Or can side effects be controlled completely by eating/not eating certain foods?

Can the time of day the pill is taken make a difference when side effects hit? For instance, if I take it at lunch time (I don't eat lunch) might effects hold off until 5PM? LOL I understand everyone is different, but I'm hoping to find some common thread with those who have side effects.

I am encouraged by posts from those that have no side effects. And hopeful to be one of them!
