Hi all! I’m looking for something similar to Listen for the Lie by Amy Tintera. I read mainly romance but I’m looking to branch out. This book was right up my alley as it

-Wasn’t too dark

-Good mystery with great pacing to keep you hooked

Obviously, I liked that there was a lite romantic subplot but that isn’t necessary.

I’m just looking for something with the same kind of tone! Any recommendations? Thanks!

A sticky southern summer with a bit of romance

A love letter to the low country! I want an Americana forward book that could be women’s lit with a bit of romance, or just plain romance is fine.

I know Where the Crawdads Sing & Nicholas Sparks books are the go to for this, so other suggestions welcome.
