3 Weeks on Ozempic — Down 7 lbs So Far

I wanted to share my personal experience in case it helps anyone considering this route. This is not medical advice—everyone’s health history and response can be very different.

After three weeks, I’m down 7 lbs, and I’m really happy with that progress so far.

The biggest change has been my appetite. I can still eat normal foods and haven’t followed a strict diet, but I get full after about half the portion I used to eat. As someone who loves food and has always struggled with appetite control, it has honestly helped a lot.

So far, I haven’t had any noticeable side effects or discomfort. I also haven’t been doing much exercise yet.

I went through Felix and used their self-serve process.

Step1, I filled out a short questionnaire about my medical history, and about two hours later I had an online consultation with a doctor through the app. I also had to upload a quick full-body video.

The doctor ordered bloodwork and sent me a requisition for LifeLabs. One thing that made me a little nervous was that I was told I could start the medication before my bloodwork results came back. The prescription was shipped very quickly, but I personally didn’t feel comfortable starting until my results had been reviewed, so I chose to wait.

Step 2, blood work.  I went to LifeLabs, had three tubes of blood drawn, and the results were sent directly to the doctor. Once they reviewed everything and said there were no concerns, I felt comfortable starting.

Step 3, The injection arrived the next day, which honestly surprised me. I watched a bunch of injection tutorials because I was nervous about doing my first shot, but I eventually managed it.

Overall, I’m happy with my experience so far. It has made eating less feel much easier without relying entirely on willpower. Again, this is just my personal experience, but I hope it helps someone.
