Is this Dylan Harper variant the first pulled? No value reported online.

2025-26 Bowman Chrome Dylan Harper BCV-2. Appears to be a mojo under the light with burgundy sides, serial numbered /275 (found one site that reported it existed, but no value).

Anyone know what its value would be? $50-80 CAD?

... I live in Canada, where it's so hard 😞.

Two examples from yesterday stand out:

First, a small flea market/consignment shop/auction house on a county sideroad had sports cards scattered across its warehouse. I wanted to buy either a 2007 UD Sweet Spot Classic Signatures Roberto Alomar /99 (yellow signature, so it was starting to fade) or a PSA 9 1989 Bowman #220 Ken Griffey Jr. Rookie Card.

However, I used Google Lens to check if the prices were fair market value or inflated.

The Alomar card showed an eBay listing that was near three times what the store wanted ($150 CAD on eBay, $52.50 CAD in store). HOWEVER, the /99 was the exact same. That seller was raising all his prices on eBay, then selling them in-person at a slightly lower cost. That cost was STILL $12-15 higher than what I could get on eBay elsewhere, which turned me off. The funny thing is someone from the store lowered the eBay listing to $79 today, so they obviously noticed.

The Ken Griffey Jr. (from a different booth) was $175 (!) when eBay has other PSA 9s for as low as $50-60 CAD.

Second, I went to a store I've never been to in the next town over. I seen the new Topps Flagship Series boxes Costco was selling previously that I was too busy to get my membership renewed for. But, I also knew the price was $54.99 in-store because I do Instacart deliveries in the store they probably got it from (80 km away in my home city).

You know how much they wanted to charge?

$100 a box.

Near double the cost from Costco.

Even when factoring in the cost of a membership and tax, I felt that was a rip off with how much they were trying to profit off a box of cards from Costco.

For the record, it's very hard to find new hobby boxes locally (all four LCS in my city have not gotten new stock since 2023-2024 due to Upper Deck and Topps cutting them all off), let alone solid individual cards.

I want to buy cards, but I don't want to spend triple the MSRP for a hobby box or double the value for a card either.

Sorry for a bit of a rant, but I was curious if I was the only one getting frustrated seeing sticker shock in Canada?
