I found out I’m pregnant recently and am wondering when it is appropriate to tell family, especially my mom and sister. I want to do it in a special way but am apprehensive to do it so early since there’s the potential to miscarry in the first trimester. Do most people tell their families early anyway? Especially for the first baby? Or do people really wait the 12 weeks?
