High School Awards/ECs on first year UC transfer app

Hi, so for context I'm a graduating HS senior and I'll be attending a UC this fall, but I am planning to apply for transfer to Cal or UCLA in the upcoming cycle. So, the upcoming application cycle is in November and I'll be be applying as a junior level transfer in my first year cuz I'll have enough credits (mostly through APs, CCC DE, and UC courses). Since I won't even have completed a single semester at my UC by the time I submit the application (November 30, middle of fall semester for me), would it be ok to include some of the awards that I won in HS if they were big/related to my major? Or will the schools I’m applying to as a junior put me on equal footing with the rest of junior level applicants and pretend I’ve been in college for 2 years?? This is mainly cuz I'll only have been in clg for 10 weeks by the time I apply so I won't have much time to get involved in a lot of ecs. I'm also planning on continuing some of my HS ecs in clg, can I include that I started these in HS? Also, do you put the time duration/years that you were doing an EC for in the application?

1 year UC to UC transfer

For context I'm planning to attend a UC this fall, and it's a great school but Cal has always been my dream. I've seen a lot of guides online about how to transfer to UCs after 2 years, but for my case I'm only interested in 1 year transfers. My current plan is to use a combination of AP credits, dual enrollment at a CC, and credits from my current UC to meet the 90 unit requirement. But I since I am going to be applying in the fall cycle, my application would only have grades from my summer courses and some fall courses from the TAU. Would this put me at a signifcant disadavantage? Does anyone have any experience with transferring to another UC after 1 year? Any success stories?

Any advice is greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Hi, so for context I'm a student currently at UCSD and my dream school is Berkeley for data sci. But, since uc to uc transfer rates are notoriously low and data sci is super hard to get into, i don't wanna apply directly for that. Would it be possible to apply for an L&S major (like applied math) and switch into data science once I get in? ik for first years this process is very doable and easy (data sci has a 90% internal transfer rate for berkeley students), but for transfer students can you immediately requeest to switch majors once you get in if you have the prereqs done? or do you have to wait a yr or smth? Any help or guidance on this would be appreciated :)

Thanks!

EDIT: the 90% transfer rate is referring to the percent of students at berkeley who are able to transfer to Data Sci from some other major
