Hi everyone! I’ve been desperately trying to figure out what’s going on with my skin the last month. I started tretinoin about 2 months ago and tried to follow all the instructions (start slow at once a week, sandwich method, make sure face is fully dry) and then after a while I started to add azelaic acid. At first I absolutely loved the results I felt like the azelaic acid took everything to a whole new level. After a while though I started to notice what looked like a lot of closed comedones around my chin and mouth and then about a month ago I got some hormonal acne on my chin. Usually it goes away after a bit but this time it stayed and doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere. I’m at a loss and don’t really know what to do my skin looks worse than it did before. I’ve read that the toner I’ve been using could maybe be a factor. I also only use the cicaplast once a week when I use tret. What’s confusing is the texture and pores on my forehead and cheeks have looked so much better but my chin is a different story. I’m not sure if anyone has any experience with this I’d love your input. Just don’t know where else to turn. Here’s a photo of everything I use and my skin currently .
