400,000 people in Las Vegas This weekend to Celebrate Americas 250.
Do People Really Go To Vegas Without Gambling?
Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird when people spend thousands of dollars to come to Las Vegas and never gamble? I’m not saying you need to blow your vacation budget chasing jackpots, but at least sit down at a cheap blackjack table, throw twenty bucks in a slot, or make one sports bet. To me, the casinos are the whole reason Vegas became Vegas. The restaurants, shows, pools, and everything else are awesome, but they’re all built around gambling. I honestly can’t imagine flying home without at least giving the casino a shot. Is that just the gambler in me or does anyone else feel the same?
250th Anniversary of America's Independence!
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY 'MERICA
To the family blasting music loud enough to be heard 10 houses away and launching huge air burst fireworks on Zarod Road in Ridgebrook...
I hope someone makes you as miserable as you make everyone else.
4th Of July Sky Opened Up To The Gods From The Luxor
Luxor Sky Beam during 250 years of Independence
Getting ready for a party, and I stumbled upon a pile of these cups. Felt compelled to make a drink in one.
Miss this place. Lots of fun memories.
Do you prefer Vegas by day or night?
I love Vegas. Have been twice this year already. By night its most fun! Until next time!
Vegas drinks
I'm headed to Vegas and looking for advice on what drinks to order. I'm not a huge drinker and can't handle much. Like 2-3 mixed drinks while partying, or more spread out throughout the day. I like to get a good buzz, but not drunk to where I'm hungover the next day.
I hate the taste of alcohol, but drink to let loose a little as I'm quite introverted until I get a little liquid courage.
Drinks I'm looking for: Fruity or sweet, cannot do anything too strong tasting and shots are out of the question.
Like a smooth tequila mixed with something that covers the taste, but also want to pace myself and be able to drink the same drink throughout the day to not mix liquors and still be able to function.
Lastly, I'm also looking for something easy for bartenders to make as I know floor drinks should not be complicated.
Does anyone have any recs based on my my requests?
Peekaboo I see you Hard Rock 🎸
My View from the Bellagio. Cesars may have tried to block the view of the new Hard Rock with their new LED sign on the strip. They can't block all of it though🫣 Quite frankly I like seeing it in between Caesars, it's like a little game of peekaboo and history in the making of course 👨🎤
Can’t beat the deal. These things are huge. 9435 S. Rainbow Blvd.
Did the Grand Canyon helicopter landing tour. Totally worth the hype.
Hey r/vegas, just wanted to drop a quick recommendation. I recently took the helicopter flight to the Grand Canyon.
I wasn't sure if it would feel like a tourist trap, but it was an incredible experience. Escaping the noise of the Strip and standing down in the canyon is surreal. Definitely a bucket-list item if you have the budget and some free time on your next trip!
Happy 4th of July aka independence day to all the American friends. Love you all and your culture .
Btw I'm not american , I'm indian
How cheap did Vegas use to be?
Everywhere is saying Vegas is getting expensive. But how cheap did it really use to be?
What are some examples?
Rooms seem pretty cheap now. Food seems pricey Was it really that much cheaper before?
