Where would you rank the Palms AYCE Buffet in the Las Vegas Buffet Rankings with Caesers/Wynn at the top and Circus Circus at the bottom?

I am considering taking my 16 year old daughter and 12 year old granddaughter (don't ask) to Vegas for the week of Thanksgiving (not Thanksgiving day) and am considering the Palms Buffet vs the extra high-end buffets due to price and the fact that I doubt they would enjoy the higher priced ones more. What say you, /r/Vegas?

Have the large "Shoot To Win" Craps machines been completely eliminated, or can you still find them?

I know that casinos were phasing them out due to mechanical and maintenance issues, but are there still active machines anywhere in the Vegas area? I much prefer these over the individual Bubble Craps games or the wide-play "Stadium" craps machines.

House Fire on Baseline and 14th

Right across from Dutch Bros. House looks totally consumed. All roads blocked off by fire trucks. Stay safe out there!

Hitting the ATS is better than an orgasm

Playing stadium craps at Ilani in Southen Washington State. Ultimate low rolling with a 60 buy in, just fucking around mostly. Putting a buck each on ATS and pass/odds, $12 across and a buck on each hardway. Was up and down for about 45 minutes when the machine went on a God roll of 40+ numbers. Pressed until I had 26 across and a nickel on each hardway. The Small hit first (30) leaving only 11 to complete. 6 agonizing rolls, with 7-8 other people around all on the same quest. When the Yo hit, it was like euphoria. High fiving complete strangers and watching it rack up $185 in winnings. The God roll CONTINUED, and at the end I had 10/12 on each number and hit a couple of hardways at the nickel bet. All said and done turned my 60 into 475. Cashed out and walked. I've had sex sessions with 9/10 nymphos that weren't as satifying.

Realistic Oil Change Intervals?

2023 Hybrid Limited with 43000 miles. Run exclusively synthetic oil. Mostly in-city driving.

What is a real-world suggested interval for oil changes? I'm really old school, used to the 3 month/3000 miles routine, but i know for modern engines with modern oil, that's not necessary anymore. But the recommended 10k per change seems really long. What's the real number/time?

30 Day countdown to my next Vegas trip

56M, solo, Driving down from Portland via Winnemucca (2 day trip, I'm too old to make that drive in one day anymore). 4 Days comped at The W at Mandalay Bay, 3 Days comped at 4 Queens. This time I've worked in a bunch of pre-paid non-gambing activities (Carrot Top, Vegas Aces vs. Portland Fire WNBA game, WOZ @ Sphere, Player 1 Video Game Bar, Mob Museum, Moorea Beach Club daybed, GN Shark Tank Pool Reserved Lounge Chair). Also found a couple of off-strip Karaoke spots to hit and made reservations at Herbs & Rye for the first time. Then driving back up to Portland via Mt. Shasta National Park, maybe stopping in Redding or Klamath Falls for the night.

I always have a tendency to over-plan trips like this, but in this case, I think I've done a pretty good job, and I'm not bringing as much gambling money with me as when I fly in for a few days with no other plans besides gambling.

Based upon my current itinerary, can anyone recommend any other activites that I could work in? Atomic Museum? (interest level 6) Neon Museum? (interest level 4). I've been to Hoover Dam, Red Rocks, all of the other outdoorsy stuff that it's too hot to do in July anyway.

Looking forward to it!

Edit: yes, yes, Green Door.

Scheduled rides under $20

My city is FLOODED with scheduled rides between $3 and $10. They'll sit there for hours/days until they just fall off because they've expired. I don't understand why rides that cheap are even allowed to be scheduled in advance. I'm not waiting 15 minutes to take someone down the street. Ridiculous.
