Hit the Talls in 6 rolls

I went up to my local casino Sky River. See if we can keep our streak here going.

Slipped into my 2nd favorite spot Base Left 1.
$10 table, buy in $300 . 5,0,5 ATS . My usual $44 inside 3 hits regress back to $44 inside unless repeaters then do $64 across.

First two shooters I was able to regress. Next 5 were either PSO’s or 1 number then 7.

Finally I shoot. I’m down to about $70 ish.
Just do $44 and bonus no odds until I hit one number.
And well I set a point and then hit the talls bonus 5 rolls later. Quick and dirty the guy next to me bet straight up yo for $25 when that’s all I needed and he hit that plus bonus.
And I kept rolling a few more. Just needed the 3 and 5 for the smalls. Made a good chunk back.

Ended my roll with $450 in the rack.
Stayed for too long and gave a little bit back.

Walked away with $325 minus dealers tips.

These damn cute penguins took that $25 away from me and I left even. I’ll take it.

Markers/Credit Question

Do casinos accept cash deposits by players from which they can draw at the tables?

I would think this would be a good way for a regular player to fund their play , especially when dealing with large amounts which can be risky to walk around with.

Is this done? Or are markers only drawn against a credit line?

New to craps with a question

I like this strategy a lot and it works for my smaller bankroll, but as a newer craps player, I have a question.

Let’s say I get to the play where I pull my 4 and 10. Next roll, shooter hits the point. Should I then pull all my chips, wait for a point to be set, and then restart the strategy or leave my spread?

Additional question. What should I have as a bankroll. We’re planning a birthday trip to Vegas where I’ll be splitting time between the strip and Fremont. Hoping for $15 tables, but open to hearing what I should bring for all table minimums!

Borgata in for 500 out for 2.3K

Quick hit and run. Empty table around 1pm. Immediately set a 12 as the point, buckshot it with max odds for a quick $450 profit. Then reset and just kept on hitting boxes. Threw 3 back to back hard 4s. Was just an ace duece away from hitting ATS. Old timer walked up and threw cash on the table mid shot and I went right out. Colored up and headed home.

Hardrock AC - in for $200 out for $325 (25 min play)

Hit the table around noon and it was pretty packed. 15$ tables.. Got in stick left and this guy was on a massive roll but I refused to buy in and ruin the roll. Guy next to me going on and on how “I don’t trust anyone and I only bet on my own skills etc blah blah” kid hits the 7 and the dice go to him. He puts out 135$ and throws a 9 then 7 and rages and walks away.

Dice go to me. I go in a nice roll maybe 9-10 .. hit a 5 come bet the 9 and 8 3 times each then 7 out.

That was it .. cashed out and played slots for 5x tier points.

Easy fast win and I was happy

How much bank roll to bring?

Going to Aruba 15$ table last year so I’m assuming it’s the same I forgot what I brought. I will have 3-4 nights of play prob 4 hrs a night.

I usually play pass line with odds, some hard ways (5 min bet on these), little bit of field and I like playing numbers too.

What should I bring 300-400 buying per session?

Trip report, Royal Caribbean radiance of the seas

4 night cruise, I was a bit unsure what bankroll to bring because I have a tendency to bring 1200ish for one session that could get blown through in an hour 😂

What I found was this- one table, 10 min, 3-4-5x, and generally the table was always full. As you’d expect, everyone there to have a good time, majority seemed to be relatively new players with a few experienced players. Most nights it was the same players which I thought was pretty cool/fun. Dealers were mediocre on payouts but all friendly. I say mediocre on payouts because I don’t do anything crazy on my presses but sometimes I’ll half press 2 numbers / sisters and they’d get confused or pretty slow, and I had to correct errors a few times. Even once they almost paid me 1:1 odds on a 5 or 9 point hitting. Never any issue, everyone was cool.

With this type of setting I found it pretty easy to relax my temptation of betting too heavy and was able to actually have fun with small little $300 buy ins. With full tables (slow action) and everyone in good moods, a $300 buy in could last all night long. Over the 4 nights, the dice were mostly balanced, no loaded dice like they use at hard rock Tampa (lmao), plenty of solid rolls and never got crazy ice cold. Tampa will have hours of no one hitting a point. Overall won money on the cruise. Played almost everything they had (UTH, roulette, BJ, slots), was up on UTH and craps and overall.

Also the ship was mostly lame as far as other activities and the pool was trash so I def was just wanting to mostly gamble 😂

Where are the least serious players in Vegas?

I have a trip coming up and I’m still not familiar with a lot of the casinos there. What I’m hoping for this time is pretty much the opposite of what I usually get at my locals: So a place that doesn’t have a lot of regulars, that attracts tourists but non-high rollers, newbie-friendly, fun vibe, pretty much anything a serious craps player would hate.

There might not be such a place, there might be too many to name. But I really want to have some low-to-no pressure sessions while I’m there.

Bubble Craps: in for 100 out 240

Stopped in quick today and walked past the cluster of machines by the door because I didn’t like the vibe. Went to machines by the bar and sat down. $25 on pass line and the come out was 7. Win.

$25 on pass line and the point is 6. 2X odds and $25 on place for the point. Immediately rolled a 6. Left with a $140 win after 2 minutes. Resorts World Newburgh

In for $300 out for $684

Quick session at Argosy Casino in Kansas City, MO. $10 table. As soon as I buy in shooter hits the smalls. Had $5 on it so a quick $175. 7 out. I get the dice snd go in a decent roll hitting a couple of points with $10 on Passline and $25 on odds so a couple of nice payouts. 7out after about 3 points giy. Table got choppy from there so I gave some back. Color up and outta there with my initial buy in plus profit! This is all going up until my next visit!

Side note: Argosy by far has the best craps experience in the KC Metro. Great knowledgeable snd entertaining dealers. $10 tables and not as crowded as Hollywood or Harrah’s. Anyway just my 2c. Great session.

Sharp Shooter Dice Tracker: iOS just dropped — now need 4 more Android testers to unlock public beta

A few weeks ago I posted about a craps tracker app I built. iOS just got approved 🎲

https://apps.apple.com/app/sharp-shooter-dice-tracker/id6767905760

Android is ready but Google requires 12 opt-in testers for 14 days before they'll open it to everyone. I'm at 8. Need 4 more.

If you have an Android phone and want early access drop your Gmail below or DM me. Takes 30 seconds to opt in and you get the full app free.

Heading to Vegas again end of the month — would love more data from real sessions before then.

Table Felted!

A while ago I posted about a 10ft table I’d found on Facebook Marketplace, I’d like to give you an update of the journey 🙂

Hours of spray painting, felting, cutting, sanding, and filling cracks in the laminate has come to this! Plenty of more work to come, from the chips to the lighting there’s a lot in store for this 😁

Thought you might all enjoy the progress update.

Winstar, in for $600 out for 0, how the hell do I learn how to quit while I'm ahead?

I was up to $1600 in the bubble machine and I should have just quit then and called it a night, I'm so mad at myself because this is the 2nd time that this has happened to me. I remember feeling real confident at that $1600 mark and I wanted to push it closer to that $2k mark and then came the bad rash of 7s and I couldnt hit a point to save my life. How do you make yourself stop playing this game?

Aria, in for 1K, out for more or less 1K

Nothing interesting here *for me*, I stopped by for a victory lap after winning moderately in blackjack at the Cosmo (yes, I know playing 6:5 makes me part of the problem).

But this bro at my table was in the process of losing *30 grand*. Had to sign for the chips and everything. Had no idea what he was doing- chips on pass line, chips in the middle, chips hopping a bunch of stuff, $1K on ATS, all sorts of nonsense. Dude’s circle of hangers on looked like they wanted to take me out when I PSO’d playing just three point molly with table minimums.

Only time I’ve ever been….well not *happy*….but we’ll say *amused* to have a meh roll.

Playing real casino vs craps app

Greetings,

I've learned how to play craps via an app called WinCraps. In the app, I configured the settings to leave my original bets up when they hit.

I've never played in a real casino before so when I do & go to put my place & buy bets down once a point is established, do I tell the banker that I prefer to leave my original bets in play when they hit or do I just put the amount back out when the dealer hands me my winnings for that bet?

Also, I like to reduce all of my initial place/buy bets after a couple of hits, do I tell the banker I want to reduce each of these bets to "x" when that time comes or do I have to take them all down and then put up the reduced bet amounts where I want them?

Cooked on Bubble Craps

I tracked all my different sessions over the course of two weeks in Vegas, and the results were:

317/1142 (#7s/total # rolls)

Final day was especially brutal:

1st session - 12/42 numbers were 7s

2nd session - 7/16 numbers were 7s

I had one winning session this trip, playing Crapless.

On another note: when playing Table craps this weekend I got to play a little bit of craps with an Actor, which was cool.

Needless to say, I'll never touch bubble craps again because my bad luck is amplified on that for whatever reason.

Slots helped offset my losses, but I'm still absolutely down this trip, lol.

$200 in, $650 out

Went to Snoqualmie Casino (WA) for the Mother’s Day brunch and was pleasantly surprised they put in a bubble crap machine. Hit the ATS @ $2-$3-$2. The brunch was awesome too!

Nice move by dealer that helped me

Just finished my second trip to vegas, got some good $10 sessions at multiple places, and had some nice bubble craps wins. Overall won around $550 for the trip and the last session I had was the live $10 table at ellis island. I ended up losing like $20 for that session, but I had an interesting win with my come bet when the puck was off.

For reference I am a pass line odds + 1 come bet odds, sometimes place 6/8, and I always do my odds working on come out rolls. I had a 4 with single odds come bet when the puck was off, and a 4 rolled, but I forgot to tell the dealer I wanted my odds on. So he told the pit boss I would usually put odds working (I had done so all session) and they paid me the odds!

Obviously I tipped him well, but has anyway else had this happen? Is it even common for pit bosses to allow that?
