Talls in the Sky

Went up to Sky River for a few hours on my day off.
Arrived around 11am only 1 table open and it was packed.

Walked to bubble crapless and gave it a go. Nothing too great. Build up then get knocked down.
I was about $80 in when I finally hit the Talls but couldn't scrape up the rest of the ATS. Cashed out the $100 ticket for now.

Went over to the table and there was just one spot open but during a come out so I hopped in.
Buy in $200. $10 min.

First two shooters I was able to get my $44 inside pressed twice then 3rd hit regressed back to $44
inside on profit. But not much more after that.
Next 2 shooters were PSO's. Last shooter before me was 4 rolls mostly horn then 7 out.

With the ATS and center action I'm down to around $60. Enough to go across with odds only atter the first hit.

I start shooting and after 3 points hit I'm finally feeling in rhythm. Hit the Talls in around 12 rolls.
Come out 7 reset the ATS on the 18th roll. Only 4 more rolls after that. I kept getting distracted by someone hovering right over me when I had the dice on the last few rolls.

I was able to color up at the table $477.
I wish the next shooter luck and head to bubble again. I'm just up and down up and down on the same $40 for a while when I get wiped out with like
4 PSO's.
Put in another $20. PSO.
Another $20. PSO.
Ok oooonnneee more. And was barely able to scrape up the ATS on a 21 roller. Cash out a $300 ticket.

Check on the table on the way out. Shooter that was after me is STILL shooting. Been about 50 minutes. I should have stayed! But at least got the ATS on the bubble machine. He still needed a 4 and a 12 for the full ATS when I left.

Craps break

Took a break from editing craps videos to go play some craps. Up to the closest casino, Sky River.

Just a quick hourish session and back to work.
Bought in $200 at only open $10 table.
playing $44 inside. Pressing sisters and need 3 hits or a repeater then regress back to $44 with profit. Then full press until a repeater comes and take some more profit.

First shooter hit 2 numbers then 7 out. Next one is a PSO. Next shooter I get my 3 hits and regress down and just able to press one number before the 7 out.

Down 3 shooters. Rack is low.
I’m shooting next. And a guy that seems to always be there, loudly switches to DP.
Idk, maybe he doesn’t like the way I shoot. Tells his buddy “maybe 3 throws and 7 is coming”
Well he was right. Point is 9, next roll I hit a 9 and then 3rd roll was a come out 7.
So he lost twice and doubled his DP bet from $25 to $50. I normally don’t pocket watch but there was only 5 of us on the table and he was being the only loud one.

I set a point of hard 4 and he drops a fat stack of greens saying “ok bet! I know seven is coming now!”
Well yea a 5 and then a 4 came. Hard 4 again.
He mad, puts a box on his chips and goes to wait until other table opens in 12 minutes.

I’m back to even and confident enough on my roll now. Keep going hitting numbers, but only 9 repeated. ended up just needing the 2,12 for the ATS.
I put the dealers up on the high low and 7 out right after.
I color up at $290

Try bubble craps for like 25 minutes and run a $50 to about $230 at one point. Hitting the tall side of the ATS and then 7 out next roll. And then next shooter hit the small side of the ATS and then 7 out again. I chase for a bit and give some back but called it at $150.

Monday Movement

Monday has been a grind. Decided a quick craps session would mellow it out.

Had about an hour to play before I had to get on another zoom call.

Bought in $200 at Sky River. 2pm.
Both tables decently full as always.

$10min. $5,0,5 and $44 inside.
Depending what hits press the 8,9 then the 5,6 then 3rd hit or repeaters I drop back to $44 inside with the profit and press until I can add the 4 and 10 and then to the moon.

First shooter. Took his time throwing and was doing a reverse catapult throw. Wild. But was able to hit the smalls in 10ish numbers. Only needed the 11 for the full ATS. He threw another 6 numbers but we couldn’t get the 11 before the 7 out.

Next two shooters went pretty quick not able to press and regress.

Next one up. Nice lady on my right. Definitely a regular, had her cushion to stand on and a battery fan. Knew the box and dealers well. Good energy. I was able to press, press, press inside cause I believed in her and on 4th hit regressed to $64 across.

Timer went off. Was lucky enough to catch a point and come down and color up for $540.

Left some action for the dealers since I had to hit and run. Made sure to let the nice lady know it’s not because of her I just had to go work.

Chicken Ranch Casino, Jamestown Ca

This is just to document for others searching craps at Chicken Ranch.

As of last night No Craps Tables.
1 Spintec Automated Craps machine.
No bonuses.
~$5 min total play.

8 seats.
No one controls the dice. Every player must hit button for timer to end sooner.

Very hard dice. Sounds like they’re gonna crack the glass when they hop up and hit the sides. I played about 30mins and seems like I only witnessed 4-3’s for 7’s. Maybe it was the wine but I swear it was just 4-3’s.

$40 to $175 enough to cover my part of dinner.

Food.
Went out for Moms Bday dinner at the rooftop steakhouse Perch. Great food. A5 Wagyu Striploin Steak, Tomahawk, Lobster Mac, Cheesy Garlic Potatoes, Lobster Bisque. I’m hungry again.

Quick ATS, Harrah’s Ione

Bought in for $200
$5 Table, California Card Craps

Went $1,1,1 ATS
$3 hopping red and $4 horn on the come outs.
Not even on the pass line starting real light on first shooter.
$22 inside. And this guy starts hammering the numbers. I’m just pressing one unit at first then pressing “sisters” and collecting half.

Shooter turns the Talls bonus in about 12 rolls. And then hits the 2 for the full ATS about 6 numbers later.

I had regressed to 2 units across a bit after the Talls so was back to half pressing. 7 came and I was up to around $600 in the rack.

Tale as old as time.
With profit I went heavier on the next shooter. $4,2,4 ATS a $5 pass $20 odds on the 9. And $54 across. $4 horn.

PSO.

Dude was yapping and then talked smack to another player for “late betting” right before he was given the dice, I knew it was coming as it flew in the air.

Colored up after those two shooters even tho I was one person away from throwing the dice.

$510, left my center action $1,1,1 $3red $4horn for a dealer bet.

Come back for the come back

Went out to Harrah’s Ione to try and catch a hot roll on the $5 table.
California Card Craps. Low rolling.

Bought in for $200 and the table quickly reminded me that even at $5 if it’s cold and you can’t get past a few numbers, any minimum amount will dry up your rack.

2 others on the half table.
Going $26 across $5 pass and 2x odds when they are shooting.
2 units across , full odds when I’m shooting.
Double up and regress to house money.
Just couldn’t get it going.
They left and I rolled alone 2-3 times.

Two cool cats walked up, Father and son that I had rolled with Friday during that killer 47 roll.
AMAZING energy love having them around BUT they are notorious late bettors and it’s a peeve when I’m rolling.
Still glad to have them around I let them roll and we just go up and down with min bet across. Min betting is hard because you’re really looking for repeaters but we couldn’t get any.

Back to me and I have an empty rack. Throw in another $100 and I proceed to go on a decent roll. I got about 4-5 numbers on the ATS but then hit a 7 on a come out. No problem work it up again. 4-5 numbers on the ATS. Hit my point then a come out 7 wipes the ATS again. Better now than when working.

Go for it again and just needed the 6 for the smalls. Moved my $12 place bet for the dealers “making a hole” and hit it right after. Now with just the 8,12 for the make em all. And Another come out 7.
(At one point the dealers 6 place bet was heavier than players at the table including myself because they just kept full pressing)
Ok we are making money the hard way. Have another decent run of numbers but not getting too far on the ATS. Aaand 7 out.

Did I learn my lesson about a cold table after a hot roll?
Nahhh, went heavy on the next 2 shooters. About 2 numbers each but I wasn’t regressing like a dummy. Lost like $160ish

Colored up at $425

47+ roll and crapless ATS

Went back for another round of craps at my local Harrah’s Ione last night.

1st session went good. $5 table. Where I min bet across on others and 2 units across for myself.
Bought in $200 and was able to press , press , press and regress when its house money. then 1 unit press til 7. Ran it a few times slowly climbing the $5 mountain. Took first break at $335

My “break” is usually walking around the big casinos a few laps but since this place is so small I take a break at crapless bubble.
$1 ATS $1 min bet across, full press to “double” then regress and repeat until ATS or 7 hits.
I put $20 at a time and was in $60 when I had a good run and cashed out a $100.

Took dinner break.

Came back to the table after a few of the regulars walked up. Put $135 back in trying to make something happen. Great bunch when we are hot but we couldn’t get much going in that hour or so. Trying to catch the good wave I take a break minus that $135

Break at a different crapless machine. This time I’m $80 in when it starts building and building and I’m able to smack the ATS. Cash out $375 ticket.
Stoked and ready to bring good vibes I head back to the table with some more ammo and I walk up to a 7 out.

Daaaaang. Ok welp.
Let’s hop in. Put the $200 back up.

2nd pic is the roll tracker of that very next roll.
47+ rolls
White is a horn number.
Red is a box number.
Green is a 7 on the come out.

First roll yo,11 then she went 20 rolls without a horn.
Hit the Talls, needed 2 for ALL, and then hit 7 twice resetting the bonus. Next go around the bonus she just needed the 3 and 12 for the ATS. But couldn’t get it again. I regressed twice during the roll. Once early and another after the 7’s came. because I was scaredy cat.
Could’ve had more. But it went well. About $700ish $900ish in the rack.

(I don’t “track” on a come out when it’s not a horn or a 7. So I missed a couple when setting a point, so she could’ve easily had 50 rolls)

Next shooter I went heavy since I had profit. He rolled 4. Ok fine, I’m next and also went heavy. I rolled 3 and that was enough for me.

Cashed out $1075 and a nice iced coffee for the drive home.

Harrah’s Ione, in $250 out $505

Thursday night. Went for a quick trip.

Try and throw some dice for cheap at the $5 table at Harrah’s Nor Cal.

$200 buy in
It went ok at the table. 3 PSO’s when I got to the table followed by a decent 10ish roll and then I rolled 14 numbers. And it was just a slow bleed after that.
Walked away with $100 and took it to bubble.

Put $50 into the crapless. Missing 2 numbers for the $1,1,1 ATS twice.
Doubled up my $50 to $100 so cashed out moved machines and hit a few numbers and the smalls but couldn’t get the ATS, cashed out at $155.

I tried to use my free play at the bubble craps but the screen wouldn’t let me tap my PIN.

So on the way to cashier stopped at this funny bunny tree looking slot. Put my $10 free play and didn’t realize it was $.02 but hit the 176 bet and on first spin hit the bonus. Heat cheeked 2 more spins using up the free play and cashed out the $252

Day 2 PHX layover

2nd day at the in laws. Went out to my trusty “local” Harrah’s when I’m out here. Ak-Chin has nice dealers and not usually too busy so able to hop in and off of the table without being a nuisance. Letting me take smoke breaks in the fine summer heat or just a walk around when the table cools off.

Buy in $200
$10 table and looks like they’re doing a newish 5x odds on all the numbers.
Did my normal $44 inside trying to get 3 hits and regress back down to $44 or on my roll going across and full pressing until I’m able to get a repeater.

Slow going but had a decent shooter that brought it back with a bunch of 9’s and another with a bunch of horns on the come out. Was able to get out the table at double up.

Lost a $50 on the crapless bubble and called it a night, had to head out to TN the next morning for 8 days of no craps out on the farm.

Talking Stick, more like whipping stick.

This was before my trip out to Tennessee, two day layover with the in-laws in PHX. So of course I spent some of that time at the casino.

I wanted to try something other than my normal Harrah's Ak-Chin or Gila River so went out to Talking Stick in Scottsdale. Had previously visited the sister property Casino Arizona 10min down the hwy maybe 2 yrs ago.

2 tables , 1 open.
$15 min, $5 ATS
$300 buy-in

$44 inside press “sisters” for 2 hits, on 3rd hit drop back to $44 inside.
Only 1 other person playing at start and neither of us could get past 2-3 numbers.

Took a break -$150
headed to check the bubble machines $5 min on the 1 4-set of crapless craps and $3 min on the stadium bubble machine. Sat down at stadium first to watch the Soccer game that was on. Ate $50 quick.
Walked around in view of the big screens checking slots found a decent play and put $10 into $48ish.

Took that to the crapless machines and 1,1,1 on the ATS and very conservative pressing and regressing starting across “heavy” inside them adding extremes. Had a roll only missing 2 numbers for ATS and then after a few more “shooters” finally got a good roll going and smacked the ATS. Just enough to bring me back up.

Out $550ish

The heat brings em out

(This was my Sunday session.)

Feels like all the don't players are coming out of the woodworks.

I was at Sky River in Sacramento Sunday night for a quick roll.

2 - $15 tables and 1 at $10 all pretty full.

So I slid into a spot at the $10. Quickly got my action out and looked up for the shooter and I see mountains of don't passes on both sides of the table.

7 of the 11 players are playing the don't and pretty heavily. And they are winning. And cheering for the 7, calling for it on each roll.
Not a table for me. But stubbornly I try and roll and it's like throwing over a 2 story barn. I get a few numbers still and find a hole by the don't come bar that I'm aiming for. Hit 3 numbers and feeling better.

So NOW would be the time to mid roll buy while I have the dice for $ 12,000 In crumpled $100's and $20's.
They don't even stop the dice.
They want me to roll with a mountain of cash in the center, the box man actively counting and spreading money and don't forget all the don't passes.

I just say turn off my bets please and throw them wonky, no setting no aiming just toss. 2 throws and a 7.
The tables did not spark joy.

So head to bubble craps and claw it back.
Ran a couple $20's to $100. took a small walking break and then came back and hit an 1,1,1 ATS for a smidge of profit.
Call it and head home to pack for my trip.

Reno Row Report

This was an old session , weekend of Juneteenth.

Stayed at The Row Caesar’s properties Thursday. $15 tables at silver legacy and el dorado. 1 table open at each. Silver legacy has an electronic hybrid table as well looks to only be open weekends and I didn’t catch it as I was at GSR the next day.

Played mostly with the old dealers at el dorado. Nice fellows but they are yappers. Often slowing the game down to talk to each other or players. Very friendly but tough to play with sometimes.
Especially when a regular buys in big and is just maxing out the don’t pass and completely taking the attention of the dealer and stick with tall tales. Had to take a break til he was gone.
Throughout the night small hit and runs (walk around the Row exploring and playing machines and tables , had like 10k steps just that night.)

Later in the night had 2 rolls by myself that went great and I was coloring up and a guy asked if I would stay for 1 more and shoot so he can bet with me. I obliged and just full pressed from min bet across and kept full pressing everything. Missed the ATS still but it was 3 pretty good rolls in a row and I called it at that.
Ended up the night about +$1300.

Woke up grabbed a coffee and walked circles and smacked a few bubble buttons until I saw they were opening the tables at 10am, grabbed breakfast and then headed to the el dorado tables for the friendly old timer dealers. They were doing something wonky I’ve never seen.

I’ve played on many half tables with only 2 dealers, 1 stick and 1 base. But we had 2 bases no stick with the full table open. Passing the stick in between the two depending on shooter. But that made center bets hard as they couldn’t really reach the horn or horn highs or c&e depending on player. So since I’m in my favorite spot of Stick Left 1 with no stickman I started clearing my hands and counting out and placing the center bets for me and the other 2 guys on the table. Hello I’m a dealer now 👋

Sounds like it was the box ladies first time watching over craps because of a few call outs. So we were explaining craps in real time for her to “ok” the payouts. and so she was ok with the other wonky stuff happening and me helping out the old guys with the center bets. Only played about an hour but it was a real fun way to start the day.

After that fun I went to GSR to film some videos with Taka Rolls for his YT. And I got ate up. 3 sessions and I couldn’t get out more than 2 shooters with any type of regress and profit. Rough for me. Down like -$800 of the profit from night before. So no pictures of GSR cause I was hurting. 😂 you can catch my PSO’s on film in a week or two.

Tables cold, Bubble recover

Drove up to Hard Rock Sacramento to meet up with some of the boys to get a few rolls in.

Got there a little early so threw a $20 in the bubble crapless to see if I could just min bet ATS chase waste some time for the guys to get here.

About 3 “shooters” in and boom boom boom 31 rolls with an ATS hit.

Cash that out but I only wasted like 10 minutes so I walked around and watched the craps tables for a bit.

Finally got to angsty and bought in with the $300 from the ATS bubble hit. $15 min.
Other shooters I’m doing 2,1,2 bonus, 4 horn, 3 hop red.
$66 inside.
First hit add odds. Then just press up one unit eventually add 4,10 if we get there. (We didn’t get there)

Cold cold table. A few numbers hit but not enough to regress.
Threw in another of my own $100 so I could roll and same. Hit a few numbers but instead of collecting I was just pressing odds. Just needed 12 for Talls and 2,3 for smalls. Couldn’t hit it.

Went back to bubble to claw back my $100.
It was grind but I got it back and I’m outta here even.

I even have free gas cards from comps to fill up at the gas station on site so it was just a “waste of time” lol

Better luck next time.

Hit about 8 horns and comeout 7’s before setting a point. No one wanted to bet on me.

Then I went ahead and rolled for about 45 mins.

Went to Sky River in Elk Grove / Sacramento.

Got there just in time to catch the table still at $10 min. About 8:30pm.
Bought in for $300 and we had 3 PSO’s just right out of the gate. Maaaan. It’s gonna be a short night isn’t it. :/

Guy in SR1 started shooting. Point 4, then hit 5, then 3,2, oooh can we get a 6! No it’s an 8 then a 10 finally we get the 6 for the smalls but can’t catch the Talls.
Ok nice got enough back to shoot next and go $54 across plus odds since im in my favorite spot of SL1.

I hit a 6 for a point and right back get a 6. Nice nice. Then I started throwing 3’s like it’s no one’s business. A few come out 7’s but I can’t find a point for 8-9 rolls.
Finally I get the dealers across on the ATS and on the hardways. I’m trying anything to get out of this horn hole and set a point.

Done with the horn and 7’s funny business and no one really wants to bet on me now and I totally get it after watching all those horns come out.
But then I started hammering numbers. Hammering and hammering. I just need the 2,3 and 12 for ATS (ironic now I can’t throw a 3) but after around 45 mins finally the 7 comes.
I’m at like $965 now and go in $64 across next shooter trying to get 3 hits to $1000 and get out.

Nope 2 numbers but can’t get the third hit before the 7.

Tip dealers and leave with $900

Hit the Talls in 6 rolls

I went up to my local casino Sky River. See if we can keep our streak here going.

Slipped into my 2nd favorite spot Base Left 1.
$10 table, buy in $300 . 5,0,5 ATS . My usual $44 inside 3 hits regress back to $44 inside unless repeaters then do $64 across.

First two shooters I was able to regress. Next 5 were either PSO’s or 1 number then 7.

Finally I shoot. I’m down to about $70 ish.
Just do $44 and bonus no odds until I hit one number.
And well I set a point and then hit the talls bonus 5 rolls later. Quick and dirty the guy next to me bet straight up yo for $25 when that’s all I needed and he hit that plus bonus.
And I kept rolling a few more. Just needed the 3 and 5 for the smalls. Made a good chunk back.

Ended my roll with $450 in the rack.
Stayed for too long and gave a little bit back.

Walked away with $325 minus dealers tips.

These damn cute penguins took that $25 away from me and I left even. I’ll take it.

Copy, paste

I ran it back.

A couple small differences but it was a copy, paste of the night before.
I got there a bit earlier around 8:20 last night and was the very last buy in at $10 before they bumped it to $15 and an hour after that it was bumped to $25.

$300 buy in and it was choppy at first. 5,0,5 ATS $44 inside 3 hits to regress back to $44 on house money. But we were only getting two hits. Around hour in I’m on my last $50ish so this would be all in last shooter or buy in again.

And he went on a roll. Blasting numbers. Hammering the 5. Very quickly only needing the 12 and 3 for the ATS. We try coaxing it out but it takes a while. He’s smashing numbers and the 3 finally shows out.
Rolled a bit more but 7 came before 12.

An older uncle shot next and hit about 6 numbers so kept it going slightly. I rolled after that and same. Hit about 6-7 numbers including some nice hardways for a little bit back but 7 out and I color it up at that.

In $300 out $624 minus dealer bets as I leave.

They need more bubble craps machines. Only 4 and theres always people hovering around waiting on a seat. Left after scoping out how long the wait for bubbles was.

Late night Magic

Started the evening playing MTG with some of the boys. Didn’t finish until almost 11.
So by the time I made it out to Sky River it was 11:45pm.

All the tables are packed and at $25.
Walk to the only 4 bubble machines in the back and they are also packed with people waiting to play standing behind.

Wander back to the “small table” find a spot and buy in for $300. At $25 I usually start with 6,8,9 first hit add the 5. Same bet twice and then I either start adding 4 and ,10 after that
or if they’re just hitting inside numbers I’ll press 2 units on the number that hits.
As long as they hit 3 numbers I’m only in $15 a shooter playing at $110 inside.

It’s choppy and going downhill, just enough hits to stay playing. I roll a few numbers but just collected 3 hits before 7 came. Tables bleeding and clearing out. At 12:25am it’s just me and guy in SL1 who was grandfathered in at $15 so he’s probably been playing since like 7-8pm. Floor announces tables closing at 12:30 so after he shoots we can move to other tables, and he took that as a challenge.

I was down to all in on him at $110 inside no bonus.
8 is point he hits 8. Then 7 out on the come out I add 5,0,5 on the ATS.
He starts going on a little roll. Smashes a few points I’m just adding numbers and pressing. Eventually I’m pressed to $320 across so I regress half and add dealers across.
20 mins in he hits the 10 for the Talls. It’s going good! But too much excitement people start peaking over.

I’m adding Dealers on hardways and horns so they and box help as much as they can by turning a few people away saying tables closing after this roll go to other tables but a few rolls later and just the 2 was needed for ATS.
And the hardheaded people around just started throwing money on horn bets and placing numbers and the box had to take the bets.

We got close but couldn’t hit the 2. Too many people tried to get in at the very last second and greed got us all. Table closed at 12:55.

Colored up $600
Cage line was long so threw a $20 in a slot waiting for it to die down took out $90.
