Trip Report Wa State Craps
Hey all. I learned a lot this last trip!
I traveled across the country with a buddy to help him move to Wa state. We planned a casino weekend when we arrived and I went in with a $2.5k bankroll. I finished up after 5 days with $2.6k.
Casino Review:
Muckleshoot is by far the best casino in the area. $10 minimums - at least two tables open at all times (smoking/non). Friendly dealers
Clearwater is a great second but smaller and no great comps. The dealers are great though and it’s a very homely feel.
Strat:
After trying some things I landed on this as a strategy.
$10 pass -2-3-2 on the bonus with a $3 crap (I push any seven) any crap I move to a $6 3 way. I hit this multiple times. It’s a great plus up.
After point I went $52/54 across, single or max odds depending on feel and pressed bets to $25/30, as applicable, on hits. Once I collected at least once I would press up to $100/120.
This was insanely effective! I had plenty of PSOs but bankroll is king.
We hit 1 ATS ($3 for $500)
Lessons learned:
Bring enough to play without concern - in the past i would always bring $500 for a session. Not bad for a $10 table but having $600/700 really makes swinging feel better. I noticed if I saw chips drop fast i would get scared and not go across or only do pass line. This leads to missing out on hit rolls.
Don’t worry about how someone throws the dice - it truly doesn’t matter. I set the dice and have had multiple PSOs. I also had a 20 roll, missing only the 2/12. Just play!
Don’t force it - if it feels off, go grab a drink or play a slot, blackjack or whatever. If you aren’t having fun just take a break.
Your bankroll with fluctuate - expect to lose and stick to your strategy!
Stop playing the field - On a $10 table you have to play $2min bet. If you want to play the field for 2/12 just play a $3 crap or $5 C/E. Much better payout than a $10 field. Also, all other field numbers have better payouts as a place. The field is terrible.
BONUS INFO:
I took a break after a while on the last day and went to play a slot. Played super flaming hot pots and hit a huge $800 bonus on a $5 bet. Took that to the table and went in for my biggest craps roll. $100 pass, 25-25-25 bonus, 25 crap. Rolled the point. Went $540 across no odds. Hit an eight for $140 then….. seven. It was such a rush and what I considered a free roll. As discussed above, the shooter doesn’t matter. If I didn’t wait for the two shooters before me to finish their rolls I would have been up huge. They rollled multiple points and at least 15-20 rolls each. I rolled 1 number. I don’t regret any of it!
That’s all I have folks. Hope this helps. Happy to discuss!
