Lost Wedding Ring Outside Powell's Books: REWARD!

Hi everyone, I'm hoping Reddit can help us.

On Sunday 5/17, my wife lost her heirloom wedding ring on the sidewalk outside Powell's Books on W. Burnside Street. The ring belonged to my wife's grandmother. The ring has enormous sentimental value and my wife is heartbroken.

The ring is silver- or platinum-colored, from the 1920s or 1930s, with three rows of tiny stones. The top and bottom rows of stones are round. The middle row of stones are rectangular-shaped. We don't have any photos, so my wife drew this picture of the ring.

If I make flyers, can someone post them around Powell's Books?

Can anyone recommend pawn shops or places where someone might have sold the ring?

If you’ve found it, seen it, or know someone who may have, my wife and I would be deeply grateful to hear from you. I am offering a reward for the ring's return.

Reading this post, sharing this post, or even upvoting it means a lot to us. Thank you.

Nobody Does Spring Better Than We Do

Nothing like a gorgeous spring evening with flowers and trees blooming everywhere you go. Truly a feast for the senses (including runny noses from all the pollen)!

Is this your cat? Found in Cully.

Hello! This cat wandered into our house and I have a feeling he is lost. Very clean and well groomed, super soft and friendly. Please let me know if this is your cat or if you recognize him!

Coyote/Dog Attack - SW Hills

Coyote encounter in SW Monday 5/18/26 - George Himes City Park. He popped up out of the bush 30yds away, picked up our 3yo Havasu in his mouth, and just took off. We yelled and screamed, and somehow, he dropped our boy and ran off. No puncture, no rabies, thankfully. Keep your eyes peeled folks, we almost lost a good one!

PDX moms

Hey, everyone! I'm 34 and am the mom of an amazing (almost) 13 year old non-gender confirming/non-binary kiddo (he/him, they/them).

Since my kid came out about a year ago, our family support system has shrunk down significantly. My husband, kid, and I are all different flavors of neurodivergent with some mental illness sprinkled throughout. We're not the greatest at getting out in the community and meeting peoplem... Not because we don't want to meet new people, just because it's hard to get out of the house sometimes, lol.

I'd really like to grow my village, especially with summer break coming up. I don't want my family to isolate the summer away.

Are there other moms out there looking for a new friend and/or have a kiddo between 11-14ish who might be interested in a new buddy?

I like to: laugh (comedy shows, comedy movies, funny podcasts, etc), have a coffee/walk dates, hike, paddle board, garden, get crafty

My kiddo enjoys: drawing anime art (sketch books or digital art), screaming their lungs out to their favorite music, learning new tricks on the parallel bars at park playgrounds, checking out the shops along Hawthorne and Division (that applies to me as well!)

**Boycott Lanphere Cellars**

Just so everyone is aware- Lanphere Cellars in Aurora hosted Christine Drazan’s election night watch party last night. The family that owns and operates Lanphere Cellars is INCREDIBLY MAGA, and they’re loud and proud about it. I encourage everyone to vote with their dollars, and to not give your money to businesses that don’t align with your values.
