Been watching these PDX coyote pups torment their parents for two months. Now it’s payback time.

Someone lose a Bengal Kitty

This guy has been hanging out in my backyard for a few hours I’ve never seen him before, no collar and kind of skittish

Couple who helped me at NW 10th & Everett

A bicyclist hit my car tonight while I was at the red light on NW 10th & Everett. I had never been in an accident before and I truly did not know what to do, but a very kind couple who witnessed it stayed with me the whole time and helped call street response and get the guy back with people he trusted.

I was in such shock I don’t even think I said thank you for helping me and staying with me so I wasn’t alone. So if you’re reading this, please know I am so so thankful! I feel like my brain stopped working and you were seriously the biggest blessing to help. Hope the greatest karma comes your way!!

My Free, Non $1000 view

Went out to OMSI and dealt with traffic, but it was well worth it! And no $1000 price tag!

The Portland World Naked Bike Ride needs volunteers!

The Portland World Naked Bike Ride is back Saturday, July 25, and we need volunteers to make it happen.

If you've never been: thousands of riders take over the streets to celebrate body freedom, bike culture, and climate justice. It's one of the biggest naked rides in the world, and it runs entirely on volunteer power.

Ways to help:

  • Launch site setup at Wilshire Park
  • Corking (keeping riders safe and together at intersections)
  • Clean-up crew (we love you, clean-up crew!)

No experience needed, clothing optional, good company guaranteed.
Sign up here: https://pdxwnbr.org/volunteer/

Launch is at Wilshire Park at 8:30pm. See you there!

Straight on view of the Tilikum Crossing

We saw the fireworks from a friends balcony that looked right at the centerline of the Tilikum.

Silly/Goofy PDX

Needing light-hearted internet today. What’s the silliest/goofiest thing you’ve seen in Portland. Extra points if you have a pic

Shocking: the “don’t be a Karen, we love fireworks” crowd can’t be bothered to clean up after themselves

Pioneer Square has a bar 🍹

Was surprised to see a new bar at Pioneer Square called Square Bar. It’s a food truck with picnic tables and umbrellas. Pretty exciting to get an addition to Portland’s living room!

Hundreds of people blocking traffic to watch fireworks on the I405-I5 Marquam bridge

Fkn insane. I’ve never seen anything like this. 3/4 lanes were completely blocked by cars with their hazards on, on the fucking freeway!! People are nuts.

Really...

Who lights off fireworks from 4am to 6am?

How hard is it to find these people?

Whats the point of a firework ban, if you don't even go after the people lighting mortars at these hours?

Excuse my rant, I couldnt sleep with all the goddamn booms going off all goddamn night

Oct 2. Black Label Society/Zakk Sabbath

(56M) Metal Head. Looking for like minded, semi-mostly RESPONSIBLE, GENX adults to carpool and jam all the way to Bend. I'm Cali sober so I can drive either way just not at the concert. Anyone interested?

Pay to play, 4th of July style

Went with my kid to watch 4th of July fireworks on the Hawthorne bridge, same as we've done for years, only to find the general public is blocked from the fireworks side by a fence.

We were packed like sardines; they had us plebes down to one lane of traffic and a sidewalk while the other side was wide open with maybe 100 people to all who had $8k for a table or $1k per person.

I get that blues fest manages funding for the fireworks show, but this was straight up douchebaggery. I've never in Portland been made to feel less than before now.

Do better Portland.
