Stolen CRV OR 545KNZ

Hey everyone! My electron blue 2000 crv was stolen from the Brooklyn neighborhood on Monday night 10/5.
I’ve posted it to pdx stolen cars but thought posting here might increase my odds of getting it back. The photo had old plates and the tail gate had been fixed so there are no dents or missing parts on it.

Transmission slipping or just a sign of an old car?

I have an automatic 2000 crv with about 200k on it. Ive only had it for like a month but it was in the shop for a while getting a new harmonic balancer ( got it swapped twice but it’s still wobbling so I’m not really sure what it happening there tbh) and a new catalytic converter. I’m noticing that when I’m going from a stop or less than 5 miles an hour it takes longer than I’d expect get to speed. The rpm’s haven’t gone over 3000 but I’m not flooring it either. It seems to make a whirring sound and maybe a faint groaning sound when I first press the gas. I’m not sure if this is old car behavior or a transmission issue or a lack of power issue? But I’m thinking transmission because it seems like the person I bought the car from had overfilled the transmission fluid. My mechanic thinks they might have been trying to hide an issue but he admittedly doesn’t do any transmission work so he said he’s not sure.

I’m curious if there’s anything else I should check first? Or does it sound like I need to replace the transmission.
Also what can I expect to pay if it needs a new one?

Thanks for reading all of that and for any info!

2000 crv electron blue clear coat peeling

Hi! I just bought a car I’ve wanted for a very long time! It’s a 2000 electron blue crv! The clear coat is peeling a bit in some areas but I don’t think it’s too bad. I’m wondering it’s possible to get the clear coat touched up just in a few spots without repainting. Someone told me it’s risky to repaint this specific color because it often comes out too shiny. I really don’t want a brand new shiny glossy look. I like the color how it is right now. I just don’t want the clear coat to keep peeling and as far as I know you can’t stop it once it has started.
