Printer advice

I have been borrowing a Creality K1C from a buddy. I had personally been eyeing a Bambu P1S, but I figured it was a free way to try it out, and figured I might buy it from him if I like the hobby enough.

I even found a great deal with a coupon on a cfs-c and bought it... it was too good a deal and I figured even if I didnt wind up liking the hobby and not opening it, I could make $25-75 off of it.

Fast forward a few weeks, I have been enjoying learning plasticity, blender, I played in Shapr3d for a bit... i am designing functional prints for life and also enjoying exploring thr fun trinkets you can print. So far, I have only printed hyper, silk and regular PLA... but had to tinker a bit already with the machine to get it to do it's job, and I am not loving that side of things.

I am capable of doing it, but I would rather spend my time designing and printing than making necessary mods and adjustments to a printer.

Talked with my wife and we determined that it was a good idea that I saw the cfs-c and return him his printer and I could get the p1s. I've heard that if you're the kind of 3D printer that doesn't want to Tinker with the machine, you don't care about jailbreaking it, and you just want something that works that going with a Bambu is the right way... plus the AMS is tried and true and the cfs-c is new and still buggy...

But then today my buddy offers me the k1c for $200.

It is a fairly low hour machine... less than 15 days of print time or something like that... but I still want the Bambu I think.

So my 2 questions...

Am I crazy for getting a bundle P1S and giving up a great deal on a Creality machine bundle?

Would it be douchey to buy it from him and turn around and sell it for $250-350 plus whatever i get for the CFS-C to help fund the Bambu?

Just give it back and buy my own? Like what is the move here and why... thoughts and advice appreciated.
