Guidance for getting difference in points back

For those hotels that actually dropped in points after the deval, what is the best guidance to follow for getting the difference in points back? It’s not much, but Hotel Bowery in NYC dropped to 15k per night after I paid 17k per night. But my reservation now shows the current rates at 15k per night so I’m afraid if I cancel I won’t get back the points I used. Will Hyatt automatically credit back the difference in points?

Impressions Isla Mujeres with points

Has anyone had luck booking Impressions Isla Mujeres with points lately? I’m seeing 0 availability as far as the calendar goes while checking every day. Is it that popular or have they removed points bookings?

Was able to grab a 3 night stay at Park Hyatt Mexico City for 71k points in May 2027. I know the hotel is opening in January but I haven’t been able to find a ton on it online. For a 3 night stay, do you think this brand new PH is worth a premium over say, the Andaz Condesa for 12-15k points per night? Don’t have Globalist or any elite status. Haven’t stayed at a Park Hyatt before, and the Mexico City one seems to cost fewer points than most other ones I have seen. Does anyone have any input on how the Mexico City PH might compare to other ones once it opens and if it’s worth staying over a different Mexico City Hyatt?
