Incorrect Neck Placement

Update: Thanks everyone! Im going to take the sanding neck route as I have plenty of room there to play with. I love the neck to much and im tight on cash right now.

Its 12" super thin neck that I've spent ages making perfect for my playing needs.

Hi all.

I foolishly trusted this kit guitar before sinking hours into finishing it.

The distance from the edge of the nut to the 12th is 31.5cm and the 12th to the middle of bridge is 32.5cm. Some strings are intontable but some aren't.

Is the correct action here to sand the neck carve or pocket as the bridge cant be moved? I assume this involves doweling and redrilling neck pilot holes.

2nd issue.

I got this nut guage from Ali express and it works great but I cant find measurements online. They all measure with 3rd fret depressed but the tool is designed to measure 1st fret action. Anyone know good target values for 1st fret clearance?
