I have been a foster mother for several years, and all of my kids have been older children who ultimately left my home. Now I have a young child in my care and I will soon be adopting him. I want the opportunity to give him a name, and I’d love your ideas :)

I will be keeping his first name - it is a gift from his birth mother and it will always be his. I will be giving him my last name and changing his middle name to something of my choosing.

This is where I’d love your thoughts! Throw some middle names at me!

I will change our existing names for privacy reason, but keeping the important elements to give you something to go with.

First name: Quenton
Middle: ???
Last: Brent

Initially, I was thinking of making his last name his middle. Think something like McCall. So, Quenton McCall Brent. I’m still considering incorporating it, but only if I do multiple middle names.

Here are some of my thoughts so far:
Quenton Pierce Brent
Quenton Pierce McCall Brent
Quenton Pierce Beauregard Brent
Quenton Pierce McCall Beauregard Brent
Quenton Pierce Harlan Beauregard Brent

Pierce is a family name, so I’d like to keep that if I can make it work. Harlan and Beauregard are as well, but they’re of lower importance to me. I’m open to putting the names in different orders.

Other family names I’ve considered: Whitney, Wolfgang, and Lyon.

I’ve considered incorporating a name with African origin since my son is Black, but I’m having a hard time finding one I like that doesn’t clash with first and last names. If you can think of some, I’m all ears!

I have been told by some people that giving him multiple middles name is ridiculous, but I kinda like it. I like ridiculous :)

Thank you for your input!
