Looking for people to build a healthcare transparency app (India)
Problem:
Many families are told throughout pregnancy that everything looks good for a normal delivery. But at the last moment, some hospitals suddenly recommend an "emergency" C-section. Sometimes it's genuinely necessary, but many parents are left wondering whether the decision was medically required or financially motivated. There is no easy way to see real experiences from other parents before choosing a hospital.
Idea:
Build a community-driven app where parents can:
- Select State → District → Taluka → Hospital.
- Share their delivery experience.
- Rate hospitals on:
- Support for normal delivery.
- Whether a C-section recommendation was clearly explained.
- Transparency of costs.
- Overall experience.
- Flag concerns so other families can make informed decisions.
The goal is not to shame hospitals, but to bring transparency through real patient experiences and help families choose hospitals with confidence.
I'm looking for developers, designers, doctors, lawyers, and anyone interested in healthcare transparency to discuss this idea and possibly build it together.
Would anyone be interested in collaborating?
