Colorin has two roles:

1. Outliner — You pick a prompt (from the weekly theme, your own idea, or a random suggestion) and draw a black-and-white outline on the canvas. Before submitting, you can optionally restrict which colors the colorist can use.
2. Colorist — You receive someone else's outline and bring it to life using the coloring tools: fineliner, marker, pencil, or eraser. Pick your colors from the color wheel and fill in the artwork.

Weekly Themes & Daily Challenges

Every week features a new theme (e.g., "SpongeBob & Friends", "Pokémon Trainers", "Marvel Universe"). Each day within the week has a specific challenge with increasing difficulty:

• Easy — Simple, recognizable subjects
• Medium — More detail required
• Hard — Complex scenes or characters
• Challenge — The ultimate test for the week

Completing daily challenges earns bonus XP that contributes to your leaderboard rank.

The Gallery

After a colorist submits their work, the artwork enters the Gallery where the community can browse and vote on their favorite pieces. The best artworks rise to the top of the leaderboard!

Tips for Great Outlines

• Draw bold, clear lines — they're easier to color
• Leave enough white space for colorists to fill
• Use the marker tool for thick, confident strokes
• Use the fineliner for fine details
• Consider restricting colors to create a fun challenge

Tips for Great Colorings

• Stay within the lines for a polished look (or don't — it's art!)
• Use the pencil tool for shading and texture
• Try the spray tool for soft gradients
• Experiment with the color wheel — unexpected colors can be amazing
