Hi! My husband and I are visiting Oregon over Memorial Day weekend and have one full day to explore the Columbia River Gorge and Mount Hood.

We’re debating between doing a guided tour (like a waterfall/Sasquatch tour) vs renting e-bikes with Bike the Gorge and exploring on our own.

For those who have done either, Which would you recommend for a first-time visit?

We’ll also be spending some time in Portland (thinking Japanese Garden + downtown), so open to any quick must-sees there too! We’re from New England so we’re used to the unpredictable weather change
