Hi, some time ago my friend borrowed my soldering station and somehow lost the temperature knob. I though that I will just order this part from a China shop for few cents, even ordered some knobs that looked exactly the same, but it turns out that the mount is completely different. Standard mount is D-shaped, 6mm. Mine is hexagonal, about 3mm.

I've tried hard to find this part, without success. Do you have some advice how to fix it, or what should I search for to replace it? I don't want to scrap this soldering station only because it's missing a plastic knob...

The model is Velleman VTSS4N. I know it's not the best station out there, but good enough for my needs as an amateur.
