Stretchy wrap with minimal fabric?

Stretchy wrap with minimal fabric?

Hi all, apologies if this has been asked before. I am due with baby no.2 and had two hand me down stretchy boba wraps with my first baby that I just couldn’t get on with. They had way way too much fabric, I felt suffocated in the summer heat and baby kept slipping out of position, despite being a very small 6lbs. Now, they were used by my SIL with her massive baby up until I think a year or so old?? So maybe they lost elasticity and if I bought new I wouldn’t have that issue?

Is there such a thing as a stretchy wrap with less fabric? Or would a woven wrap be better? Or anything else I should consider? I couldn’t find a suitable structured carrier for those first couple of months with baby being so small and I’m expecting that baby no.2 might be a similar size. Pic included, please don’t judge I know it’s not the right positioning, taken before I discovered groups like this!!

I’m in the UK if that makes a difference
