I recently got hired full time at a 24/7 pharmacy. This week is my first full week, and unfortunately during the interview process I forgot to mention that I have a two week trip to another state at the end of June. Now that I’ve been hired, it feels too late to let my manager know, but this trip involves a prior commitment that I can’t step out of. I’m trying to figure out the best way to word this conversation while still being firm that the trip is nonnegotiable.

Any advice would be appreciated!
