Hey everyone,
I’m currently developing a boxing career simulation game called Knockout Inc. — still very early in development.
In the game, you control one boxer and their entire career, starting from the bottom and working your way up through fights, training, and career-defining decisions. The goal is to shape your fighter’s path toward titles and long-term success.
Right now, I’m building out the core systems and progression loop. Some of the features already implemented include:
Media – interviews, hype, and public perception
Lifestyle – choices outside the ring that impact performance
Rankings – climb the ladder and earn bigger opportunities
Medicine – injuries, recovery, and long-term health
Finances – manage earnings, expenses, and risk
Camp – training, preparation, and fight readiness
The focus is on a mix of strategy, realism, and long-term career building rather than just arcade-style gameplay.
Planned / Future Features (Roadmap):
Dynamic Rivalries – build history with opponents that affects hype and fight outcomes
Promoters & Contracts – negotiate deals, choose your path, and deal with politics
Titles & Sanctioning Bodies – multiple belts, rankings, and mandatory defenses
Fight Style System – develop unique styles (counter puncher, brawler, technician, etc.)
Expanded Training Camps – coaches, sparring partners, and specialized training focus
Injury Consequences – long-term damage affecting career longevity and performance
Press & Social Presence – build hype, handle controversy, and grow your reputation
Career Decisions – move weight classes, take risky fights, or play it safe
Late-Career & Retirement Paths – decline, legacy, and what comes after boxing
Also working really hard to implement character customization and other Designs. (These are just placeholders at the Moment)
