30F in dillema
I started my arrange marriage search late, been in the search for 9 months now. Just turned 30 and after meeting 20+ guys, I finally met someone who is actually a really nice person. But the only issue seems to be is that he is not from a very strong financial background. His parents are sell sufficient financially but for any luxuries of life, he will have to pay for them. He does not have any inheritance.
I have a personal net worth of 3 cr in assets (he is not aware)
We come from similar family backgrounds and currently have same lifestyles. (Not sure if family lifestyles match due to his family belonging to a small town, though they are modern and educated folks)
I really like the guy but I also worry that I will eventually resent my life with him due to our savings rate being lower than I would've liked.
I don't have any financial responsibilities towards my family as they have assets to fall back on.
The guy and I are both from Tier 1 engineering colleges and make a decent amount of money (not as much as we could as both chose unconventional career paths that don't pay as much, a range of 20-30 LPA each)
We're both 30 years old and a part of me thinks we will make enough money in our lifetime and I should focus on choosing this guy because he is a good person.
Another part of me wonders if I should keep looking as there will be better options and everyone is a good person on this planet.
But then also the men I have been meeting have been very weird and have asked for wedding gifts etc from me. And this guy wants nothing.
I would like to ask the experienced quorum here for their opinions.
