My 9th day since I started walking, what I noticed.

I want to say thank you to all the people who give me helpful information and advice.

I have noticed since I started walking:

I feel better, my migraines are lase painful, I can breathe easier, I have more energy.

If you are overweight, you want to have shoes as light as possible.

I have lost 1,9 kg , which I think is mostly water, I think the true result I will see after a month.

Am I still depressed?

Yes I am .

It honestly has been hard for me to keep consistency, walking is the easiest part for me, the hardest part was getting mentally ready, and getting out of the house.

Some advice for others that are starting too and might be dealing with depression.

  1. You don't want to look at your phone every time to check steps.

  2. Find a partner, a friend, a family member or find a local community group for walking. I have a friend with whom I walked everyday, and it had such positive effects on me. My daily goals were 7000 / day, and I would often go over that because I was enjoying a walk and conversation with my friend.if you are person like me that doing things for others is easier then for yourself, I fully recommend it.

  3. I will be honest that there were days when I was really depressed and nearly given up, I still walk but I didn't meet my coals, and that's fine, it is more important to try every day, even if you fail.

I hope this was helpful.

English is not my first language , sorry for any mistakes.

I am in my Frist week of walking and I need some help.

Hi , this is my first week of walking, it is the 4th day,

On the 1st day I started real slow, just trying it out, walking just around 400 steps, on the second day I woke up super early and chose fardest away store in my city and walk around 5 Km, and did 7000 steps. On 3rd day I basically repeated my second day, and took afternoon scroll around parke, additional 3000 steps. Over all I have walked in total 10 Km

Today I repeat my 3rd day, and last 250 step I did up and down stairs with 3 kg weights .

Since I have started walking my condition was improving, also I am trying to not force myself, I am going as far as I am feeling good.

I wanted to know if I am overdoing it, and if anyone has helpful advice.

While I would like to lose weight, to help me breathe easier, I don't have specific goal in my mind.

Sorry for my bad English, it is not my first language
