My latest 2 Handmade Rosaries

The first one is bone and antique Crucifix, Center, and Medal. It is important as Catholics to contemplate the final four things always.

The second one is glass pearls from a vintage monet costume jewelry necklace!

Started as “Saving”

This all started around the beginning of march. I walked into an antique store and found nags full of antique rosaries. All from late 1800s-1960s. All broken. I have since fixed hundreds of them and started making my own rosaries and picket shrines. Mind you, 4 months ago, i have never even touched jewelry plier, let a lone an embroidery needle (the pocket prayer i made totally from scratch and string!! Even the heart!) i guess i am very proud if the skills I picked up and really want to share. I will post the antique ones separately. I have been very blessed finding lots of parts. It feels good to have fixed so many and give them to people.

With the antique rosaries, ones that I could not complete, i used for chaplets. I encourage everyone to look at making chaplets! It was is super fun, you learn a lot, and you gain great inspiration for new patterns.

I have too many to share, but I will share my first barrel knot rosary i made yesterday, my first wire rosary i made with natural pearls i found at a thrift store, and my precious blood chaplet!
