Thank you for all that you do!

Thank you to all the Mission Rosary makers. To all the folks that are called by Mother Mary to craft, knot and bead Rosaries and to donate, give and gift them all away.

My birthday is the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, so it seems fitting that I love making them.

Please know that all your efforts doesn't go unnoticed!

God bless! 💛✌🏼

Help finding rosary

Do any of you guys know where I can find a rosary with beads like this? I’ve had such a hard time finding one that matches, I’m hoping one of you has seen it somewhere.

Design Update!

The beads I ordered arrived and I quickly looped them up onto wire. Just waiting for the Pater beads… They are stuck in customs for the time being!

First ever Rosary I’ve made- for my son’s bday this month

It’s def not perfect but I love the way it turned out. Especially because I still don’t have all the tools so I had to make shift with what I had.
I love smaller, more compact, heavy beaded rosary’s. I hope he likes it.

Where do you shop for beads?

Hi! I love seeing everyone's art on here and am just getting into this as a hobby. Where are your fav places to buy beads? I've been going to local craft stores, but often find the selection to be limited. Any advice?

How to make a rosary?

Hello, first time posting here! I would like to start a hobby of making rosaries. Thing is I have cerebral palsy (can’t use my right arm). Can I make rosaries with one hand? Are there any adaptable tools I can use to make it a little less difficult? I don’t know where to start, haha 😅 also I was wondering, what do you do with the rosaries? Do you donate them, start your own business? Thanks in advance 🙏🏽

New Rosary app for iOS and Android

Hi!!

A few weeks ago, I launched Beadlight, a new app designed to help you pray the Rosary.

The app has come a long way since its first release, with many new features, and I’m pleased to share that Beadlight is now available on both iOS and Android! 🙏

Please check it out below. I’d really appreciate any feedback (thanks for all those who already have supported it!)

My first set of prayer beads!

I don’t know what this would technically be called so I’m just gonna call them prayer beads but I wanted to share them! I don’t know if it would technically be a rosary since it’s lacking a proper crucifix and centerpiece but I did base it on a rosary!

Design Choices…

Hello! I’m hoping for some creative feedback on my next project. What color combination of smaller beads do you like the most? I have three stones to choose from and gold hardware.

Rosary Making Guide?

Hello! I'm looking to have a go at making rosaries—chain link, cotton cord, paracord, etc.—and I was wondering whether anyone here knows of a good, comprehensive guide thereto, whether online or in print? Thanks!

My latest 2 Handmade Rosaries

The first one is bone and antique Crucifix, Center, and Medal. It is important as Catholics to contemplate the final four things always.

The second one is glass pearls from a vintage monet costume jewelry necklace!

My first practice chain ever!

Followed a tutorial on YouTube and spent about an hour or so linking 10 beads… surprisingly strong!

My second rosary! Memento Mori

Hello!! I posted earlier this week after making my first ever rosary for my boyfriend as he delves into the Catholic faith

The first one felt like colors he likes, but the sparkliness of it all was more up my alley

I'd seen a few memento mori rosaries on this sub and thought it would probably be more his speed (those skulls were so hard to work with!!!)

The meaning of a memento mori rosary feels more impactful, we connected early on about the losses of our fathers and how precious each moment is with ourselves, each other, family and God

I decided to keep the little sparkly angel for the center because it matches the first one, and it is his birth stone!

Let me know what y'all think!! It only took me a little over 3 hours this time as opposed to the 4 and a half for the first! Looking forward to making my next (which I think I'm going to make around St. Thérèse of Lisieux, the saint of my home parish, as I'm moving to a new city very soon and will miss her guidance)

Protestant studying Chaplets/Rosary

This is the most recent Chaplet I’ve made. Painted pine for the 4 color beads, stainless steel for the others, and a hand cut and shaped mild steel cross.

I am a Protestant (Presbyterian specifically) who is really drawn to chaplets. I have played with Begleri, Komboloi, and Chetki for a few years but was struck with the idea that what tends toward nervous energy management could be something more devoted and dedicated to spiritual practice. That has lead me down the road of the development of the rosary and it’s been a blessing of learning.

I tend to stick to the Pater Noster/Lord’s prayer, the Jesus Prayer, but working on some other ordered prayers. I also work in some singing Gloria Patris from various hymns while using the beads as Begleri/Komboloi.

Free Rosary

I’m Protestant currently and I’m not really in the position to make that change to Catholicism. So I was wondering if there was a way for me to get a free rosary. As I’ve been praying the rosary on my phone and I would like a physical one and I’m not in the position to buy one or receive one in person any advice would help

Edit: thanks for all the help guys but I really can’t go to a church in person as I can’t drive as I’m not of age but any advice still helps thanks a lot

first rosary i’ve ever made!

i think i wanna take the wire out and put it on nylon cord instead, i have some tiny pink beads i’d use as spacers (the wiring came out wonky, never worked with it before). should i switch it or leave it as is?

Is $60–70 fair for this handmade rosary?

Hi everyone, I’d like to ask for some pricing advice.

This is a handmade traditional 5-decade rosary. The beads are natural clear quartz with lapis lazuli accent beads. All the metal parts are stainless steel, including the eye pins, chain, jump rings, centerpiece, and crucifix.

Each bead is individually linked with stainless steel eye pins. It is not made with elastic cord or a single hidden wire/string. I assemble and close each loop by hand.

I’m still trying to understand fair pricing for handmade rosaries, especially when using better materials and stainless steel components. What would you consider a fair price range for a rosary like this?

Would around $60–70 be reasonable, or would that feel too high for this type of piece?

Any feedback on the materials, structure, or presentation is also welcome. Thank you.
