knot issue

any tips on how to make this knot tighter to the beads so there isn’t a gap where the beads move and it isn’t comparable to all other decades? do i need to start over and give all of them a little more space to move to even it out?? i cant seem to get this specific knot tight and close enough. any help appreciated.

Cord Rosary

Making a cord rosary for an older gent I met at the senior center last week. He was sitting doing a jigsaw puzzle and as I walked over, it was clear that he wanted to talk. He saw my crucifix and Mary miraculous medal and said he had nothing. Started crying, reminiscing on his deceased wife. When I told him my name he cried some more and said he lives on Helen Place. That’s my name; Helen. So tomorrow I hope to see him

Rosary dilemma

I'm not gentle on things. It's nothing I set out to do, I'm just like a longhorn trying to navigate a narrow place. Only I'm a lot less elegant. I break traditional rosaries. I've broken three. I'm going to get a knotwork or "rugged" rosary. At the same time, these are usually marketed to men. Thoughts?

Handmade Rosaries

Posted a while ago about my sisters handmade rosaries. I got a few people asking if she had an Etsy. Since the Etsy fees are too high so she asked me to list them on my personal Depop so if anyone’s interested I will put the link in a comment. For right now I only have the two pictured listed but I will add more later in the day / week. Thanks everyone :)

Does the centerpiece and the Crucifix need to be the same color?

I found a beautiful crucifix in gold that im hoping to use, but it’s not the same color as a Padre Pio centerpiece im hoping to use.
