Inspired by the grace and healing waters of Lourdes

Inspired by the grace and healing waters of Lourdes

Wanted to share my latest rosary. This one was inspired by Our Lady of Lourdes and the healing waters of Lourdes. I used natural moonstone and angelite with blue Czech crystal and clear Austrian crystal, finished with silver-toned details and an Our Lady of Lourdes centerpiece. I really wanted it to have a soft, peaceful feel. Pleased with how it turned out.

Our Lady of Guadalupe inspired rosary

For the Patroness of the Americas, I wanted the stones themselves to have a connection to the lands under her patronage, so I chose fossil jasper, rhodonite, and amazonite, all stones that can be found naturally in different parts of North, Central, and South America. I also loved how the earthy pinks, greens, and warm neutrals echo the colors of Our Blessed Mother on St. Juan Diego’s tilma. I added the little gold star spacers for the stars scattered across her mantle, which is one of my favorite details. I’m always drawn to choosing materials that help tell the story behind the inspiration. Pleased with how this one came together.

Felt inspired by Our Lady of Victory

I came across this beautiful holy card of Our Lady of Victory, restored from an original dating back to the late 19th century, and immediately fell in love with the artwork.

It took me a quite a while to choose the beads, crucifix, and centerpiece because I wanted to capture some of the ornate beauty of the artwork while keeping it cohesive. I ended up using pearl to reflect Our Blessed Mother and amazonite to capture the soft turquoise in the artwork, with tiny star spacer beads as an added touch.
