What Specialists Can Help?
I've been seeing an allergist for 10 years, and finally hit the tipping point where I'm getting MORE triggers and tired of getting nowhere. I've been looking into my symptoms for 20 years and heavy looking the last ten and it really feels like MCAS due to a bunch of things.
Don't want to list them all out, or I'll stress myself to making this current flare worse.
Anyways, I was going to ask my allergist for a second opinion from another doctor there I know has helped MCAS patients before... And they don't treat mast cell patients anymore.
My primary doctor looked POed FOR me and referred me to another allergist. Is there somewhere else I should be going?
My main reactions are anaphylactic or GI related with a sprinkle of itchiness.
I just want to know what specialists will listen to me so I can try to stabilize this some. Antihistamines alone aren't enough.
