Retirement Plan Review/Input

Hello Adviice,

I retired May 1st at age 55 and spouse to retire Apr 2027 at age 60. Would love a review and any comments regarding our plan I created. e My one point of confusion is the AI strategies want us to convert to RR IF at ages later than our retirement age but since we are with Questrade we would be charged $50/withdrawal if remains as RRSP. Is it not better to avoid these withdrawal fees?

Thank you to everyone in advance! Love being able to keep our plan up to date and adjust spending if needed from year to year.

CPP update?

Could you give a guesstimate as to when the new CPP calculator will be ready? (Eg would include child rearing drop outs)

Thank you!

FIN4250 Behavioral Finance vs FIN 3030 Financial Ethics - thoughts?

Hello,

My plan is to become a certified financial planner (CFP) and I am a finance major at Asper. Behavioral Finance sounds way more interesting but seeking opinions from those who have taken one of these courses. Also, any professor recommendations?

FIN3270 Personal Financial Planning- do you recommend?

Hello,

I am a finance major and this would be an elective. I am interested in becoming a CFP. For those who have taken this course would you recommend or is it too basic? It does require FIN2010 as a pre-req so thinking it is more in depth. Any professor recommendations? Thank you!
