Hello again! I see that the moderators have been posting about the upcoming cycle so I thought I would use this as another opportunity to answer some questions about applications before they formally open.

For those who did not see my last AMA, I worked as an admissions officer for a large university who reviewed applications and made decisions for over 3 years.

Want to know what makes a competitive applicant? What teachables are desired? What stream is right for you? Ask away and I'll do my best to answer, please be as specific as you can!

Feel free to ask whatever you'd like. However, I know I will receive some waitlist questions and just want to state that if you have not received an offer it is extremely unlikely that you will receive one for this cycle.

I plan to do more AMA's in the future so if I don't get around to your question, there will be a next time!

Hello, I am a former admissions member for a B.Ed program at a large university here to answer your questions! I reached out to the moderation team but never received an answer so I decided to do one anyways.

Feel free to ask whatever you like, I can't promise that my answers will be correct as I only worked at a single institution so my information may be skewed. Also, programs requirements may be changing, so the information I provided may be outdated or even incorrect. Please keep the questions to Ontario schools only.
